This section outlines the steps for submitting a grievance regarding the North Carolina Medication Aide Examination for Adult Care Facilities.

Submitting a Grievance

• All grievances must be submitted in writing through the Credentia Platform.
• When submitting your grievance, provide as much detail as possible in the grievance form.
• The grievance form must be submitted within 30 days of the candidate’s examination date.

Investigation and Outcome

• After receiving the grievance form, Credentia will investigate the complaint.
• Once the investigation is complete, Credentia will send email correspondence to inform the candidate of the outcome.
• If the grievance is substantiated, the candidate will be allowed to retake the examination at no additional cost.

Response Timeline

• Candidates will receive a response from Credentia within 30 days of receiving the grievance form.
