Online Registration and Scheduling

After completing a North Carolina state-approved training course, follow the steps below to create an account within the Credentia platform system. 

  1. Visit http://www.credentia.com/test-takers/ncmacare
  2. Click Login
  3. Select Sign-Up to create a new account
  4. Enter the required personal information
  5. Check the box indicating your agreement with the Terms and Data Policy
  6. Click Sign Up to complete your account creation

Registration Process

Complete the online application within the Credentia Platform

  • If needed, ask someone from your training program or facility employer for assistance in completing the application.
  • Alternatively, you can contact Credentia at 888-204-6249

Payment Methods:
Examination fees must be paid at the time of registration using one of the following methods:

  • Credit card or prepaid credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa)
  • ACH/electronic check
  • Electronic voucher

Note: Examination fees are non-refundable and non-transferable


Examination Scheduling

  • Once your application is approved, you may schedule your exam directly through the Credentia Platform.
  • You will receive a confirmation email and payment receipt via email once scheduling is complete
  • Depending on availability, you may be able to schedule the exam as soon as one (1) day after registration

Accommodations

Credentia complies with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to provide accommodations for candidates with documented disabilities. The purpose of accommodations is to ensure full access to the test, but they are not a guarantee of improved performance or test completion.


Types of Test Accommodations May Include:

  • A separate testing room.
  • Extra testing time.
  • A Reader or Recorder for individuals with mobility, hearing, or vision impairments who cannot read or write on their own.

Requesting Accommodations:
Test accommodations are considered on a case-by-case basis and are individualized. To request accommodations, candidates must provide appropriate documentation of their condition and how it affects their ability to take the test under standard conditions. This documentation may include:

  • Supporting documentation from the professional who diagnosed the condition, including the professional’s credentials.
  • A description of past accommodations the candidate has received.
