Online Registration and Scheduling
Creating a Credentia Platform Account
- To register for the North Carolina Medication Aide Examination for Adult Care Facilities, follow these steps to create your account:
- Visit http://www.credentia.com/test-takers/ncmacare
- Click Login
- Select Sign-Up to create a new account
- Enter the required personal information
- Check the box indicating your agreement with the Terms and Data Policy
- Click Sign Up to complete your account creation
Registration Process
- Complete the online application within the Credentia Platform
- You may request assistance from your training program or facility employer
- If you need further support, contact Credentia at 888-204-6249
Payment Methods:
Examination fees must be paid at the time of registration using one of the following methods:
- Credit card or prepaid credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa)
- ACH/electronic check
- Electronic voucher
Note: Examination fees are non-refundable and non-transferable
Examination Scheduling
- Once your application is approved, you may schedule your exam directly through the Credentia Platform.
- You will receive a confirmation email and payment receipt once scheduling is complete
- Depending on availability, you may be able to schedule the exam as soon as one (1) day after registration
Testing Accommodations
Credentia complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as amended, and is committed to ensuring full access to testing for all candidates.
Available Accommodations May Include:
- A separate testing room
- Extra time for testing
- A reader or recorder for individuals with documented mobility, vision, or hearing impairments who are unable to read or write independently
Accommodations are determined case-by-case and must be requested in advance
Documentation Requirements
Candidates requesting accommodations must provide:
- Documentation from a qualified professional diagnosing the disability, including their credentials
- A description of previous accommodations received (if applicable)
- An explanation of how the disability affects the candidate's ability to test under standard conditions
